Review

This book is numbingly boring. The entirety of the novel is dedicated towards Garret hongo. However the book does not go into depth on any of interesting topics. It just goes on and on about his social justice struggles and his endeavors to waste money on more elaborate sound systems. He puts a lot of emphasis on his Japanese American heritage but no one really cares. The single interesting part of the book was his discription of his high school, with several factions based on race. I found this as interesting because these factions don't exist now, except for Border hoppers.
