Life is Hard, a philosophical guide to navigating life and its hardships is not a good book. The book goes through multiple psychological impasses that many people find themselves embroiled in such as mid-life crises, feelings of uselessness, and depression. While this is a good guide on the aforementioned topics, the manner in which the author goes about talking about his life is very expository and unnecessary. Sometimes when he talks about his gripes with social norms and discrimination he rambles on, which is bad because this book would be great if those parts were excluded.
